NEWARK, NJ: As a part of the mural conference, NewWalls Newark, I will be creating and installing Newark specific pieces for STWTS. On August 4th, we will host a group discussion for me to meet local women to chat with and photograph. Pasting starts on the 10th. To participate or volunteer, email stoptellingwomentosmile@gmail.com August 4th
Apt. 16 Art Space
61 New Jersey Railroad Ave.  #16
6-9pm

Note: Another way to support this work is simply to spread the word to folks who may not be aware of it. I realize that not everyone has access to things like Tumblr through smart phones and computer access, and I don’t always have to time to do a lot of street introductions. I’m trying to reach a broad range of women and so sometimes word of mouth helps. :)

This is important. Could very well help those struggling to read these books. Don’t leave anyone in the dark.

Speak by lauriehalseanderson is a good one for that too
